I NEED ME GROG!
I haven't updated in a while so I thought I would do so. Things are going very well actually and I am enjoying life as it is:)
How is everyone else?

Well I have been on Atkins roughly 3 weeks now and have already lost 10 pounds.
I feel great and can notice a huge change in my body.
It's not as much as a struggle for me any longer...although there ar times where I feel like a drug addict trying to sneak away to get a fix(Mcdonalds).
but enough about that.
what is new in my life? Sammy is getting bigger by the day, Stephanie is getting more beautiful by the minute! I am continuing to write songs and hope to get those recorded (professionally) and published internationally. I know it may seem at first like a far cry...but God can do many wonderful things. I just want to be used by Him and be a part of what He is doing on this Earth.
So...I miss everyone. It is raining and my office reeked of rotten eggs this morning.
Got rid of that and now I am sitting here with the door open to see and listen to the rain....man I sound like such a fruit!
Alright well I have to go for now.

Well I am on my 7th day of atkins and I feel great...I am even losing weight.
I guess the only down fall is I have to be really creative with meat, cheese, eggs, and veggies....but hey at least I am not on an island having to deal with coconuts all the time.
I heard someone say one time "If you don;t make a schedule...someone else will make it for you" very true indeed!
I am having to press myself to schedule things like: guitar playing, my personal time with the Lord, exercise,family time, down time, fun time, etc.etc.etc.
I can be very busy otherwise if I dont.
I wonder how my friends back in my hometown are doing?
hmmmm?
one thing I miss about peoria:
The TAFT homes.
and that about does it people.

Ahh fond memories....Shall we began?
Let's start with Jason Kiick...a mild mannered fellow is he, unless it incorporates the issue of food service...many a waitresses have fallen prey to his rudeness and sneer comments...although funny to watch, you never want to be in the line of fire.
I will tell you of a time I was fired from a job. I was a school bus driver...much to the likes of otto I might add...with the exception of the headphones and mullet. The reason I was fired...well, for some reason unbeknownst to me, I decided to light a bottle rocket off in a board meeting...YES,,,right there I held it up, lit it, and recieved an onslaught of verbal attack. Needless to say, that day I was fired. But hey...come on, who else can say they did that.
THEREFORE I CHALLENGE THEE....ALL WORTHY CONTESTANTS...WAGE WITH ME AND REVEAL YOUR BEST "FIRED-FROM-THE-JOB" STORY.
today is a good day....it is tuesday...the Sun is shining and all crackheads are asleep at the moment.
What I miss about peoria:
1. Steamboat Days
2. Heart of Illinois Fair
3. Hearing "Louie,Louie" played non-stop on that one radio station
4. Judecca Studios
What I will not miss:
1. Finding a tooth in my cheese fries at Steak and Shake

Good morning,
I am zapped for energy today. I am sure everyone here has heard of the ATkins diet.
I tried it once but man is it hard! My Pastor Robby has been on it and so far he has lost about 165 pounds. He looks like a different person. I think I may attempt another shot at the ATkins Lifestyle. I want to look and feel fit. Last night we had a great practice...there is this new guitarists that we are auditioning for the next 3 or 4 practices to see how he does, fit in, etc.etc. and man I had to hold back my smiles....this guy was freaking awesome.
What else can I say?
I often wonder about my friends back home...how they are doing, where they are living, what's new in their lives, have the progressed, stayed the same, or digressed since I saw them last. Friends such as: Rachael, Aaron Enns, Terd, CornDog, etc.etc.etc. the list goes on and on. Friends that had an impact on your life and strangely enough friends I rarely see anymore. The good thing about friends like this...and I can only speak of one in saying this, is when you see them again it's like you never left.
Onto my weekly segment about what I miss and don;t miss about Peoria:
What I miss,
1. One world Coffee and Cargo ( i know the name change)
2. Concert Venues
3. HAnging out
4. Throwing Various Fruits and Vegetables off of the overpass onto 74.
5. Late Nights
What I will not miss,
1. All the retarded people that are pretend Thugs
2. The Blackhole that Peoria is infamous for.
3. umm lemme see...It can be pretty Ghetto at times

Things are great on my side of the World. I just got back from Lithuania, I was there for 12 days...we also made pit stops in Amsterdam although unfortunately the layover was only 3 hours, so not enough time to see the city. The only part of Amsterdam I saw was from about 10,000 feet. I am glad to be back home. I am still working on writing enough songs to complete an album by the end of the year. My struggle is do I write to write or do I wait for inspiration to hit and then write. I've been learning to do a little bit of both....they do say practice makes perfect.
Once I figure out how to upload pics I will put a picture of my baby boy on here. He is so amazing and full of life.
Well I will write more later.
I love all you guys and yes a small part of me misses peoria sometimes.
